Cuban Resort Jardines del Rey Marks 20th Anniversary with Sustained Arrival Growth

Ciego de Avila, Cuba.- Cuba's beach resort Jardines del Rey, off

the northern coast of Ciego de Avila province, is marking its 20thanniversary with more than three million visitors since opening in

1993 and counting.


CTO Meeting in Martinique to Focus onCustomer Satisfaction

Martinique.- The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) State of

the Industry Conference just held in Martinique under the theme

"Perfecting the Experience. Delivering Authenticity", reflected the

seriousness with which the CTO views total customer satisfaction,

said Hugh Riley, the organization's secretary general.


Dominican Republic: Blue Flag Renewed for 2014

Dominican Republic.-La Laguna Dominicus beach (in the Bayahibe

hotel zone) and the Cabeza de Toro Be Live Punta Cana beach

announced their having renewed their Blue Flag international

certification for the 2013-2014 period. The new flags will be hoisted

next December 5.
