The Road to Freedom
Road to Freedom is our faith-based treatment
program at our inpatient, outpatient and
adolescent facilities. Led by a team of pastors,
medical professionals and Christian therapists,
our program focuses on the whole person - mind,
body and spirit. The program is founded on the
belief that hope and restoration for the lost and
the broken is found through God’s word, His spirit
and His power working through His people.
Participants in our program attend Bible-based
recovery groups and receive individualized
therapy. Anyone seeking to deepen their
relationship with God will find compassion and
support in recovery principles based on the
Christian faith. The Road to Freedom staff
welcomes participation from anyone, regardless
of their religious affiliation. Our spiritual counselors
guide the process of learning to rely on the power
of Christ while healing from addiction and
building a solid foundation for recovery.

The Treatment Center offers many holistic therapies to treat pain management as an alternative to prescription use. Learning how to utilitize these therapies for pain management is an effective strategy to prevent relapse and avoid addictive medications in the future. Here, we help patients bring their bodies back to a healthy, natural balance by utilizing the following holistic therapies:
Therapeutic MassageMassage therapy, or the application of pressure to your soft tissues and muscles, is designed to relax tension, improve circulation and stimulate healing.
Chiropractic CareWe utilize the Activator method, which safely and effectively relieves certain types of back pain, headaches and neck pain. After each Activator session, you will receive cold laser therapy to complement the benefits of chiropractic treatment.
Laser TherapyLaser therapy involves focusing a powerful beam of “cold” light on a specific area of your body, particularly an area where you are experiencing pain. Your body absorbs the light, which triggers a biological reaction in your cells, reducing pain and inflammation, and promoting faster healing.
AcupunctureWe offer two types of Acupuncture, cupping and traditional. Acupuncture can relieve your withdrawal symptoms, chronic pain, stress and anxiety as you find freedom from addictive substances.
Relaxation TherapyThis special type of therapy is also referred to as vibroacoustic therapy and involves gentle vibrations, music and a type of biofeedback called Heart Math. The combination of these techniques
Pain Management Options
can cause you to feel deeply relaxed, mentally and physically. Many patients find that vibroacoustic therapy significantly improves their mood and reduces their drug and alcohol cravings.
Physical TherapyTraditional physical therapy, which includes stretching and therapeutic exercise, are available as a part of your treatment plan. These and other techniques can improve your physical health and mobility, particularly if you’ve endured an injury or experience chronic pain.
YogaOur yoga classes can help you boost your self-esteem and improve your strength, similarly to other exercise routines. However, with yoga, you can reap the added benefits of establishing a better mind-body-spirit connection.
Nutritional CounselingAt The Treatment Center, you will receive a customized nutrition program. Our nutritionist will help you understand which foods, nutrients and supplements will complement detoxification, stimulate healing and enhance your general well-being.
Meditation and Mindfulness ProgramsThe mindfulness techniques and meditation classes offered at The Treatment Center will help you get the most out of addiction treatment. Meditation can improve your ability to cope with stressful situations and promote feelings of calmness and happiness.
