• John Hopkins Research has done studies that show Moxifloxacin* might help to fight TB

• Global Tuberculosis Institute is looking at vaccines to protect HIV infected people

A strain of bacteria, called Mycobacterium bovis, is similar enough to the TB strain (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) that vaccination with the bovine strain protects against TB.
