As ever, the concerts will be a wonderful opportunity for the children of our school to showcase their musical skills in an exciting festive context. This year, we have hired Blackheath Halls for the day, giving an exciting and beautiful new setting to the concerts. Both performances will be taking place on Tuesday 12 th December, one at 4pm and the other at 6pm. All children will be performing as part of Mrs Cole’s excellent KS2 choir – it is therefore expected that all children attend the concert that their class is a part of. In addition to the choir, there will be a variety of solo and ensemble instrumental performances, demonstrating the hard work and commitment of both our children and the peripatetic teachers who work at John Ball. The musical performers will be performing at both concerts. The children involved in these performances will be informed of this by their peripatetic teachers in the coming weeks. The range of instrumentalists performing at the concerts is fantastically broad, including piano, guitar, steel pans, violin, cello, drums and singing, as well as performances from Mr Davis’ rock bands and some spoken word performances from children who are part of LAMDA. Please complete and return the slip below directly to the school office – the deadline for these to be returned is Monday 27th November. KS2 Christmas concerts 2017
