Students had the chance to apply for agri- culture scholarships in the spring. If they applied, and had a 2.5 GPA or higher, they were eligible to receive a scholarship. The Western Agriculture Department awarded 39 students schol- arships totalling in nearly $25,000 from 50 donors. A total of 104 students were named to the 2018 summer semester honor rolls at Western Oklahoma State College, including 53 students named to the President’s Honor roll for earning an “A” grade in all of their courses. Full-time students who completed six hours dur- ing the summer semester with a grade point average of 4.00 were placed on the President’s Honor Roll, and students with a 3.00 grade point average were placed on the Vice President’s Honor Roll.

Western Agriculture Department Awards Scholarships
