Are by this Addendum amended as described herein. This complete Addendum,including attachments, shall be included as part of the Contract Documents.
CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS
The following questions were received by Tulsa County Purchasing from biddingcontractors:
Question 1: Who do you want to repair the insulation in the ceiling where the hangersare going for the sprinkler system. If you want the sprinkler guys to repair the openingscan you give us a detail?
Answer: General Contractor should repair the penetration areas where fire sprinklersupports penetrate the building insulation vinyl facing using a facing repair methodand material recommended by the vinyl facing manufacturer that matches the vinylfacing material.

Question 2: Since there will be no heat in the largest portion of the building, is thecustomer wanting a dry system? If they maintain 40 degrees F they can have a wetsystem that is much easier to maintain and fewer maintenance cost.
Answer: The fire protection designer should prepare the design to incorporate a“Dry Pipe” system in the unheated “unoccupied” areas and a wet pipe system in theareas that are heated, except at the area covered by the clean agent system.
~~estion 3: Can we get the location of the stub outs for the geothermal lines?
Answer: Use the locations indicated on the Drawings for bidding purposes. Fieldinvestigation of the exact locations will be coordinated before start of construction.
Question 4: Can the geothermal lines be moved off the pad site to a more level area?
Answer: The geothermal well field location is not exact and can be adjusted for siteconditions.
Question 5: What are the ceiling heights?
Answer: Ceiling heights are dimensioned on Drawing Sheet A-302, Section 1 and 2.
Question 6: Do we need the special inspection (Testing Lab) in our bid?
Answer: Special Inspection services indicated on Drawing Sheet S-002 will beprovided by the Owner as required by the Building Code. Any other inspections andtesting specified in Specification Sections will be provided by the Contractor asspecified in Section 01 4529 Testing Laboratory Services.
Question 7: Can you tell me why you are using three transfer switches? You can savesome money by using one switch.
Answer: Use the number of transfer switches indicated on the Drawings for biddingpurposes.

Question 8: is the swale in front of the building in this contract?
Answer: No. The swale indicated on Drawing Sheet AS-I 02, Detail 2 will by TulsaCounty forces as indicated on Parking Lot Plan and Grading Notes on DrawingSheet AS-I 02.
Question 9: Is the grading work in the contract?
Answer: Site grading work indicated on Drawing Sheet AS-I 02 is divided betweenContractor and Tulsa County forces as indicated on Parking Lot Plan and GradingNotes on Drawing Sheet AS-I 02.
Question 10: I have not been able to contact the Coreslab contact indicated on theDrawings or Grant Hill. I have left messages with them. Is there someone else we cancall?
Answer: No. Chuck Hopper at Coreslab Structures, Incorporated is the only personthat knows about the requirements of this project. Grant Hill is the regional managerfor Nucor, the manufacturer of the existing metal building.
Question 11: Is the lightning protection system included in the contract?
Answer: Yes.
