Turnitin enabled assignment submissions This document describes how to submit Turnitin enabled assignments and view the Turnitin similarity report for the submission. This tutorial is aimed at students.

Steps to be followed:

1. Login in to canvas and go to your course. The course homepage will open and will be similar to the one shown below.

2. Click on Assignments (highlighted with red rectangle) on the left hand pane. This will open up a list of Assignments.

3. Open the Assignment from the list of assignments by clicking on it. Once you are inside the assignment you can see whether it is Turnitin enabled or not. (Highlighted with green rectangle).

4. Click on “Submit Assignment” (highlighted with red rectangle) as shown in the image above. This will open the submission page as shown below. Upload the file, check the box saying, “This assignment submission is my own, original work” and then click on the blue “Submit Assignment button” as shown in the image below.

5. Once the assignment has been submitted, you can view the Turnitin similarity report. To view the turnitin similarity report, click on submission details in the assignment.

6. Now click on the comment bubble as shown in the image below.

7. You can now see the Turnitin similarity report.
