Equipment Set

Steps for Equipment Set

• Export equipment set

• Import equipment set in LE

• Insert equipment set

• Repair connections

Select an object that is part of a group that forms an equipment set.

From Object Menu choose Select - Groups

Export Equipment Set

Select the group from the list and press the OK button

The group is highlighted

Export Equipment Set

Choose Soloview to review if the selection is correct.

Choose Tools – Export Equipment Set from the Object Menu

Browse for the file location, add name and press Save button

Export Equipment Set

In Library Editor choose Library – Import 5D File

Choose Select All and press OK button

Go to Project Settings and release Equipment Set according normal procedure

Import Equipment Set in LE

Click the approximate desired location of the equipment set

Choose Insert – Library Object

Insert Equipment Set

Browse for to be inserted equipment set and press OK button.

Equipment Set is inserted

Move main equipment to exact position according normal Edit – Move/Rotate procedure

Insert Equipment Set

Connections to utility distribution systems will be disconnected

Repair connections

Use Edit – Move / Rotate to relocate the pipe section to the new position.

To reconnect a pipe it might be necessary to delete some pipe sections.

Recreate the connection using normal procedure (Create – Connection, Insert Reducer, Shift-Click on Joint to

be connected)

By moving some pipe sections others may be disconnected.

The purple line indicates a broken connection

Repair by Edit – Repair – Move from the Object menu

Press Yes button in the Stretch pipe? window.
