Dear Twist!

My name’s Karen and I live in Oxford. I’m fifteen, but I’ll be sixteen next month.

I live in a small house in the centre of Oxford with my mum and my two

brothers. My mum’s in her forties. She’s great. She doesn’t mind when I don’t

tidy my room, and she never gets angry. My brothers are called Ben and Matt

and they’re both younger than me. I get on well with Ben, but Matt is a bit

silly sometimes. He sulks when I don’t let him borrow my CDs.

I go to The Cherwell School in Oxford. I like it there, and I have loads of friends.

I do a lot of sport after school. I play volleyball, and I’m in the school athletics

team. Last year we won an athletics competition for schools in the south of

England. I was very proud!

I have to do a lot of homework during the week, but at the weekends I always

go out with my friends. We often go to the cinema. I love thrillers and science

fiction films. Sometimes we go to rock concerts. I’ve been to three concerts

this year. The best one was in May, when we went to a Placebo concert in

London. They were fantastic!

I’m going to stay at school for three more years, and then I’ll probably go to

university. I don’t know if I’ll get married or have children. It’s too early to know!Love,
