replaced by peace and reconciliation. For information

September 21, 2014

Hi everyone!

This is the page for St Barnabas Life Teen. I’m

Peggy Harnisch your youth minister!!

Help Wanted As we prepare to start our Youth

Ministry year we need your help!

If you would like to help make a

difference in the lives of our youth, God

may be calling you!! We need people

who can help on Friday or Sunday

nights!

Email Peggy for information at:

[email protected]

Let us know if you can help in any

way!!

Hi Everyone,

In September I like to start with basics for those who

may have had these questions.

1.) What is Youth Ministry?

Youth Ministry is a parish based group that exists to

be a place for our youth. Here at St. Barnabas we

have a middle school group and a high school age

group. A typical youth night has games, a talk, small

group activity and food.

2.) Why Youth Ministry?

Teens today have so much going on in their lives.

Most of it good, but also most of it is not God

centered. Teens have advantages and challenges in

ways not seen before. Youth Ministry is a place to

have fun and share your faith!

3.) Do I have to go every week?

We want you to come when you can but there’s no

pressure to be here for everything. We want this to

fit your life!

4.) How do I get involved?

Our nights will be listed in the bulletin. Our Middle

School nights will be for those in grades 6th, 7th and

8th or High School nights will be for teens in 9th

through 12th grade.

5.) Is Youth Ministry for public school kids or

Catholic Schools kids?

Yes it is! Actually it’s for everyone!! Our High

School kickoff is next week-Sept. 28th from 6:00PM

to 8:00 PM. We’ll have food, games and there will

be prizes! Come on over!! Tell everyone you know!!

Have a blessed week!!

~Peggy!

Next Week!!

High School Youth Ministry Kickoff Sunday, September 28th; 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Games, Food, Prizes!! Bring your friends-everyone in 9th through 12th

grade invited!! Look for us at the door of the school cafeteria!

For more info email Peggy!
