Bond University students can be eligible for financial assistance with FEE-HELP.

FEE-HELP is an Australian Government program, and is an interest free loan that assists eligible students in paying their tuition fee. While there is a maximum limit to the amount you can borrow through FEE-HELP, many of our degrees are covered within the limit.

Applying for FEE-HELP is as simple as completing an online form, if you would like to find out more please visit the Information Centre tent (Map Reference A).

At Bond, you can complete your degree up to a year ahead of your friends at most other universities, thanks to our three semesters per year schedule. We accept new enrolments in January, May and September so we’re ready whenever you are.

Applications for 2017 are now open.

Sport and fitness is a BIG part of life at Bond. All students are encouraged to participate in their choice of more than 20 differentsports on campus, playing and competing under the ‘Bond Bull Sharks’ banner.

Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a professional athlete, you can try out for our rugby, swimming, netball, rowing, cheer or even equestrian clubs.

Bondies also get free membership to the Sports Centre where they can work out in the gym, join in regular group aerobic, boxing TRX, yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics and deep water running classes, or relax with a massage or spa!

We are also committed to supporting students in our Elite Sport Program, so that athletes can train around studies. Bond is a member of the Australian Sport Commission’s Elite Athlete Friendly University Agreement (EAFUA), which provides guidelines for flexible study loads and requirements. In partnership with the EAFUA, Bond is committed to supporting elite athletes in the pursuit of their sporting goals.

Located five minutes from main campus, and adjacent to Robina Hospital and the Cbus Super Stadium, the Bond Institute of Health & Sport provides world-class facilities to students, academics and researchers in the areas of sports science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nutrition and dietetic practice. Resources include a high performance gym and pool, sports science laboratories and clinical skills facilities.

From the Institute, Bond University leads the Collaborative Research Network (CRN) for Advancing Exercise and Sports Science. The CRN brings together partners from key research and sport science institutions including the University of Sydney and Australian Institute of Sport.

FACULTY OF LAWBond’s Faculty of Law is a professional Law school that takes a practical approach to legal education favouring face to face learning. Bond believes that skills needed to practice law should be learned as part of your degree. Discover the benefit of a personalised teaching environment, where rather than being one of a thousand, your lecturer will know you by name.

At Open Day, you’ll speak to students about our Career Development Centre, where a dedicated officer will help you find a placement or internship. You’ll visit our state-of-the-art moot court and watch our international mooting students demonstrate their advocacy skills as a mock trial unfolds.

You’ll explore the Faculty building and see the Bond Law Clinic, where law students work with real clients and gain practical experience in commercial law, criminal law, dispute resolution, family law and human rights. CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTRE The Career Development Centre is your one-stop careers services hub, covering everything from career planning and Beyond Bond through to internships, work experience, part-time jobs and graduate destinations. We can put you in touch with all the right people via personal introductions at our annual Careers Fair, regular networking functions and referrals. At Bond you start planning your career from day 1.

As part of Open Day, the Career Development Centre team will be located in each of the faculties and also the Information Centre (Map Reference A) to ensure we are available to talk with you about your future career options and how your study at Bond will help you achieve them.

LIFE AT BONDCompleting your degree isn’t the extent of life at Bond. On top of a comprehensive social calendar, there are over 80 lifestyle, cultural, sporting and academic clubs to be involved in. The Bond University Student Association (BUSA) is the overarching body that administers clubs, represents student interests and helps facilitate the best student experience in Australia.

NYOMBIL INDIGENOUS CENTRE The Nyombil Centre offers the services of an Indigenous Cultural Support Officer to assist Bond’s Indigenous students with the unique challenges they may face in moving from remote communities and undertaking the new challenge of university study. POSTGRADUATE STUDENT ASSOCIATION The Postgraduate Student Association (PGSA) is a team of committed students focused on enhancing the Bond University Postgraduate experience. The PGSA maintains office hours during each semester with an open door policy to help postgraduate students. Come and talk to us about life at Bond as a postgraduate student (Map Reference A).

You can also visit the Postgraduate Business Lounge located in the Bond Business School tent (Map Reference E)

SCHOLARSHIPSBond University’s Scholarship Program has been developed to recognise and reward outstanding students who have excelled in academic, leadership, sport or community-oriented pursuits. Our range of scholarships are available to Australian and international students planning to study at either an undergraduate or postgraduate level, and they vary from full-fee to part-fee tuition remission, as well as cash bursaries to assist with living expenses.

STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAMBondies love their university and one of the ways they like to give back to the Bond community is through the Bond Student Ambassador Program. Over 300 ambassadors actively volunteer for this program by helping with activities like hosting campus tours, mentoring high school students and participating in events such as Open Day. The Student Ambassador Program welcomes new Bond volunteers throughout the year to join this rewarding program.

EXCHANGE Bond’s International Study Abroad and Exchange programs give students the opportunity to study a semester abroad. You will be able to experience new cultures and meet students from all over the world, whether you are studying on our campus or going overseas.

STUDENT FOR A SEMESTER PROGRAMDo you want to gain an authentic university experience before you finish high school? Bond University gives Year 11 and 12 students the opportunity to get a head start on their university studies before they finish high school, through the Student for a Semester program.

Successfully complete one subject to gain credit towards your future tertiary studies or successfully complete two subjects and you will be eligible for direct admission into a range of Bond University degrees after Year 12.

You’ll have an unforgettable experience as you enrol in a Bond subject, attend lectures and tutorials, mix with Bondies, meet our academics and get immersed in university life. You’ll also get full access to our libraries, sport and recreation facilities - just like a real Bondy! This program can be challenging but you’ll receive plenty of support from us, including your own Bond Student Mentor to help you throughout your semester at Bond.
