In addition to Lava™ Zirconia copings, our milling machines also produce full

contour restorations with the Lava™ DVS Digital Veneering System. With one full

contour design, both the glass ceramic porcelain and zirconia coping are milled.

The materials are then fused together with Lava™ DVS Fusion Porcelain. Additional

stains, shades and glaze are available to characterize the restoration.

Smart milling precision.

The CNC 500’s smart, 5-axis milling is ideal for full contouring,

undercuts and abutments. You can also convert to 3-axis

milling at any time. So you can offer clients a more versatile

source of CAD/CAM milling.

A workpiece that gets the job done.

The CNC 500’s workpiece magazine allows you to load and

unload a variety of fame types without interrupting the

milling process. You can mill up to 21 frames with as many

as 10 units per frame without any manual interaction.

A worktool with a brain.

The CNC 500’s tool changer holds 31 tools of up to 50 mm

in length. It handles multiple materials, indications and has a

76-hour run time. Also, its in-built sensor detects incorrect

tool placement; thus minimizing mistakes.

Operator-friendly touchscreen.

The CNC 500’s touchscreen control center is conveniently

located to provide easy access to the information you need,

from burr status to milling time. Just touch the icons on the

screen to manage your milling process.

Integrated dust collection.

Both the milling hardware and the integrated suction system

are designed to reduce dust and contamination. It can be

connected to your central dust abatement system at no extra

cost, and with no extra devices required. Also, it is quieter and

consumes less energy than our previous milling machine.

Run for 76 hours without taking a break? With the Lava™ CNC 500 Milling Machine, your lab can run all weekend without any staff.Built for large milling centers, the CNC 500 is fully automated. The 5-axis machine switches from the 3-axis to 5-axis on demand. It has the capacity to hold multiple materials including zirconia, glass ceramic and wax blocks – plus all the tools. The machine is noticeably quiet even with the integrated suction system which reduces dust and avoids contamination.

daily case load. Its cam module controls 3.5 axes and provides

high quality Lava™ Restorations – no compromise on precision

Built to be a compact and flexible desktop mill, the CNC 240

works with all the Lava™ Materials. You simply load one Lava™

Frame at a time – Lava™ Zirconia, Lava™ Wax or the glass

The other is manually operated and can suit smaller labs or be an overflow mill

for larger milling centers.

Lava™ Wax Block produces wax patterns for pressable ceramics and metal casting for porcelain fused to metal (PFM) restorations.

Lava™ Digital Veneering System Crowns produced with this system are more esthetic than pressed ceramics because the restoration is made of three precisely controlled layers – the zirconia coping, the fusion porcelain and the glass ceramic material.

Lava™ Frame Zirconia materials provide flexibility and multiple size options for the production of Lava Zirconia frameworks and copings.
