MASTER CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 18 years of age on the day of the show and who have won ten (10)Best Junior Handler awards with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKCNational Championship. All juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and must change theirentry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed, all participantsreturn to the Open Class to compete for the following year.

H A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition counts as one win towardsmoving to Open.

NOTICE: Junior Handlers must include their AKC JUNIOR HANDLER NUMBER on each entry.

ATTENTION EXHIBITORSThe show grounds at this show constitutes the show building area and parking around building,as well as adjacent fields used and hotels listed in the premium list.

The show site will be available to exhibitors from 12:01 pm until 10:00 pm Friday, April 5, 2019.The show building will be open at 6:30 am on Saturday & Sunday, April 6 & 7, 2019. Except forthose in RV parking, all exhibitors must be off the show grounds by 10:00 pm on Friday &Saturday, April 5 & 6, 2019. Dogs and equipment must be removed from the show site immedi-ately following Best In Show judging on Sunday, April 7, 2019.

There will be a reserved parking area for Judges & Club Officials.

All parking is subject to control of the show-giving club. Club officials may require that vehiclesor equipment be arranged to accommodate additional vehicles. NO CONES ALLOWED IN PARK-ING AREA.

Park ONLY in designated areas.

UNLOADING ZONES WILL BE MAINTAINED THE DAY OF THE SHOW.

VEHICLE MUST BE UNLOADED AND MOVED WITHIN 15 MINUTES. UNATTENDED VEHICLESIMPROPERLY PARKED WILL BE TOWED AWAY AT OWNER’S EXPENSE.

As per Texas Department of Health Regulation, all dogs must have proof of current rabies vacci-nation. Tags are not sufficient.

Trash receptacles will be located at regular intervals and each exhibitor is responsible for cleanconditions in and around their grooming and crating areas.

Due to limited power - No cooking appliances, electric heaters or heat lamps are allowed inthe grooming areas.

EXERCISE PENS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE.THEY MUST BE ON PLASTIC AND REMOVED ON THE DAY YOU LEAVE.

Only dogs that are to be shown under the American Kennel Club rules shall be allowed withinthe show grounds except dogs engaged as a special attraction approved by the AmericanKennel Club, may also be present.

Unentered Dogs shall not be benched, offered for sale or breeding or displayed. These dogs shall besubject to all American Kennel Club rules & regulations. The owners or agents shall be responsible forthe care and safety of such dogs. Puppies under six months of age will not be allowed on the showgrounds. THE OFFICERS, BOARD OF DIRECTORS & MEMBERS OF THE FORT BEND KENNEL CLUB, INC.ARE COMMITTED TO ENFORCEMENT OF THIS RULE, USING WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY.

Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free ofinternal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.

There will be no free catalogs.

Certified EMT will be on site during show hours per AKC policy.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY DOGS IN CLOSED VEHICLES. THE CLUB RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANYDOGS FOUND IN DISTRESS IN A VEHICLE ON THE FAIR GROUNDS.

The welfare of exhibitor’s children is the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is expressly understoodthat exhibitors will exercise control & restraint over their children on the day of the show. Parentswill be responsible for the safety of their children & damages done by their children.

The Club is not responsible for the actions or products sold by the commercial vendors at these shows.

All checks issued as prizes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Lost, stolen and/or misplaced checkswill not be replaced. Checks are valid for 90 days. The Superintendent is not able to cash checks.

The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal of greater value.

A Judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior tojudging. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp). Ramps canbe used in emergency situation to judge any breed. In an emergency situation an exhibitor has the option ofwithdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.

The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: SussexSpaniels, Basset Hounds, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows.

PUBLICATION RIGHTS: By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rightsto televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the per-sons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event, shallbelong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, like-nesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show andno such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any video-tape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition.

CLEAN UP - Exhibitors will be responsible for clean up on all parts of the showgrounds. Plastic Bags will be available free of charge.

A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for eachrecordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel ClubRule, Chapter 11, Section 2). An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 1st Entry & $3.00 additional entry of same dog willbe required for each entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 3) These Fees arepaid to the American Kennel Club.

CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITHINTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.

There will be no refund for duplicate entries.

Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.

Dogs allowed in rings during judging only.

Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendents will be responsible or obligated tofurnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait forany dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in thejudging rings.

The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judgeor barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire,extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes orany other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.

The show giving Club, the Show Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc, assume no responsibility for anyloss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumeno responsibility for injury to children.

No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance.Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures or the “Agreement” on the reverse side of the Official AKCEntry Form.

Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Thosereceived by telephone are not acceptable.

Refunds of $3.00 & less will not be issued due to the costs of processing.

An administrative fee of $2.00 will be charged for all cancellations or changes made prior to closing of entries.

Beagles (not exceeding 13 in. over 13 in. but notexceeding 15 in.). Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy),Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy,miniature, standard), Collies (rough, smooth),

The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are Champions of Recordand dogs which, according to their owner’s records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose champi-onships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 daysfrom the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, inaddition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division,color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registereddog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closedafter the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that thedog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC (For complete rulesrefer to Chapter 11, Section 3).

5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine Partners Listed Dog“All-American Dog/Mixed Breed.” Sire and Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.
