Functional description
VAV terminal units control the volume flow in a closed loop, i.e. measurement – comparison – control.
The volume flow rate is determined by measuring the differential pressure (effective pressure). For this purpose the VAV terminal unit is fitted with adifferential pressure sensor.
The integral differental pressure transducer transforms the effective pressure into a voltage signal. The volume flow rate actual value is hence available asa voltage signal. The factory setting is such that 10 V DC always corresponds to the nominal volume flow rate (V ).
The volume flow rate setpoint value comes from a higher-level controller (e.g. room temperature controller, air quality controller, central BMS) or from switchcontacts. Variable volume flow control results in a value between V and V . It is possible to override the room temperature control, e.g. by a completeshut-off of the duct.
The controller compares the volume flow rate setpoint value to the actual value and controls the integral actuator accordingly.
The volume flow rate parameters V and V can be set on potentiometers.

Functional description

Échelle de réglage de débit pour TVR-Easy
Chaque unité terminale VAV porte un autocollant avec une échelle de réglage de débit afin de déterminer les paramétrages sur site (voir exemple : TVR-Easy, grandeur nominale 200). Les pourcentages se rapportent à la plage de réglage qui peut être utilisé.
Régulation à débit variable
Les débits requis doivent être réglés sur site. Si V est réglé plus haut que V , V est fourni en tant que débit constant, même en cas d'émission d'unsignal de consigne.
Si V est réglé sur 0 %, le débit en résultant se situera entre la coupure et Vmax. Si le signal de consigne chute en dessous de 0,5 V DC, le clapet deréglage se ferme (coupure).
Régulation à débit constant
Le débit constant est défini avec le potentiomètre V . Dans ce cas, le réglage du potentiomètre V est sans importance.
Variable de pilotage en provenance du système centralisé de gestion du bâtiment (GTB-GTC)
Pour que le système centralisé de gestion du bâtiment pilote le débit, il faut régler le potentiomètre V sur 0 % et le potentiomètre V sur 100 %. Si lesignal de consigne chute en dessous de 0,5 V DC, le clapet de réglage se ferme (coupure). Étant donné que le signal de consigne peut ou ne peut pasêtre inférieure à 0,1 V DC, une régulation prioritaire est recommandée pour la fermeture.
