This information is provided only as a guide for location of CAN wiring invarious vehicles. Racelogic assume no responsibility for damage due toincorrect wiring of this product.
CAN Bus is a widely used multiplex wiring system that has been adopted bymost vehicle manufacturers. Other multiplex systems do exist such as VANand J1850 but these are not compatible with CAN Bus.
Some newer vehicles have the CAN Bus wires available on the OBD-IIdiagnostic connector. However, the majority of vehicle makes do not make theCAN bus wiring available on this connector. In these cases, it will benecessary to hard-wire the CAN interface to the vehicle CAN Bus. If in anydoubt about fitting please refer to a qualified vehicle electrician for advice.

Some vehicles have CAN Bus data available on the OBD diagnosticconnector. If CAN Bus is available it will usually be on the standard OBDassigned pins which are 14 for CAN High and 6 for CAN Low as shownabove.
