Mission Statement and Purpose

The Student Health Center Dental Clinic prides itself on providing high quality dental care to the student community in a professional, friendly, and caring environment. Our services include general and cosmetic dentistry procedures, as well as some specialty care. Our staff offers complete dental examinations and X-rays, regular cleanings, periodontal cleanings, cosmetic bonded fillings, porcelain crowns, veneers, root canal treatment, tooth extraction if needed, and even cosmetic tooth whitening.

Our Dental Clinic ServicesGeneral Dentistry

Our general dentists practice all phases of General Dentistry at the Student Health Center Dental Clinic, including diagnosis, restorative procedures, prosthodontics, and some oral surgery. They are dedicated to pursuing continuing education, and providing the highest quality of dental care to the campus community. Our doctors are committed to treating each patient with integrity, compassion, and respect.

Periodontics (gum disease treatment)

Our periodontist is committed to providing the best treatment possible in the field of periodontics, including but not limited to periodontal surgery.

Endodontics (root canal treatment)

Our endodontist specializes in all phases of endodontics to obtain the best treatment results possible.

Dental Hygiene

Our registered dental hygienists provide all types of dental cleanings, including:

•Prophylaxis (regular dental cleaning)•Scaling and Root Planing (deep dental cleaning)•Continuing Care Maintenance

Other Services

Full and comprehensive dental services including exams, digital X-rays, intra-oral camera, tooth whitening, silver and tooth-colored fillings, porcelain crowns, bridges, night guards, and extractions.

Specialists provide treatment of periodontal (gum disease) problems, and endodontic (root canal) problems.

Patient education is always a high priority for us. We utilize a patented education method with animated state-of-the-art videos to facilitate the understanding of all dental procedures. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

The Dental Clinic accepts Delta Dental PPO.

You may also drop by the Dental Clinic located in Building 6 on the UC Irvine campus map to make an appointment.

The Dental Clinic is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed on weekends and University holidays.
