“At this moment I’m studying English in Melbourne, Australia. My school is UiT. I feel
very happy in my Elementary class because my teacher Louise is funny and she brings
lollies (he, he, he…) I want to speak English more in class but I need more practice.
Louise is a very good teacher and I feel confident when I speak English with her. My class is good.
I feel relaxed and comfortable.”
“IhavebeenlivinginMelbournefor1yearandfourmonthsandIreallyenjoylivinghere.Icame
to Australia to learn English because in my country I was working as a journalist for a newspaper,
so, I think that it is very important to learn another language.

“One day, I heard the saying: “you need to make mistakes to grow up,” and that you don’t finish growing up because we learn from our mistakes our whole life. It was then that I decided to set out to learn English at UiT.
UiT feels like home. The atmosphere is nice and there is a friendly relationship between teachers, students and administrative support staff. I’ve been at UiT for 4 months and I can see my progress. I’d like tosaythankstoYuliaandLeonardowhohavebeenmyteachers.Theymotivate me every day to continue and encourage me when I make a mistake. With a smile they say: “Come on Antoinette you can…” Maybe we make a lot of mistakes along the way, however, nothing is perfect in life and the principal idea is to resolve them as a team.
So,atUiTwe’reagoodteam!”
