Applicants for a UK Visitor Visa from Thailand must show that he/she:

v is genuinely seeking entry for not more than six months as a visitor

v intends to leave at the end of his visit

v does not intend to take employment paid or unpaid, or to produce goods or provide services

v does not sell goods or services direct to the public during the visit

v does not intend to study at a publicly funded school

v can be maintained and accommodated without recourse to public funds

v is able to show proof that he/she is able to meet the costs of their onward journey

Requirements of the UK Visitor Visa

v Proof of sufficient funds

v Proof of accommodation

v Evidence of strong ties to Thailand or compelling reasons that they will come back

v Evidence of stable employment

v Flight ticket reservation

In the case of sponsorship,

v Letter of invitation (by a UK citizen or permanent resident)

v Letter of sponsorship (by a UK citizen or permanent resident)

v Evidence of stable employment by sponsor
