Christ is Risen! Brisbane 16 April 2017
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Venerable Parishioners! “Christ is risen from the dead! By death He conquered Death; and to those in the graves He granted life” Great Lent is ending and we are approaching Pascha and this year we celebrate Pascha together
with the Australian Church. Let me thank you cordially for your Christmas generosity, for your input to this Parish of Our Lady of Protection in Brisbane.
Besides this I also sincerely and in prayer wish you to experience at least some of the joy of the new eternal life that Jesus Christ brings to us by His Resurrection. My wish for you is to rest from your everyday worries that many times claim our attention, strength and time. I also wish for you to slow down and to thank God for everything He has given us; to understand how much we have received freely and not only by our merits … to give Him the first place in our lives and to live our earthly life as it should be lived – in a Christian way – that means with Jesus Christ and in love.
Parish affairs - APPEAL I am writing to you about your understanding of the Divine Liturgy and your attendance at the
Divine Liturgy at the Gold Coast. Every first Sunday of the month the Divine Liturgy is offered for all people at the Gold Coast. The Divine Liturgy and Holy Communion is a manifestation of God's love and God's grace. God's Spirit is like rain falling down from the sky. Those who walk into the rain become soaked and they feel the rain water over their whole bodies. Those who hide from the rain, remain dry, and do not know what it feels like to be soaked by the rain.
So it is also for us who hide from Our Lord Jesus Christ from His love, His truth and His Church. God sees us, but if we do not pray to Him, He cannot hear us and so He cannot help us. For those of us who live without prayer this presents a great danger that we will no longer live with God, his love, His truth and His Church.
Attendance at the Divine Liturgy requires a sacrifice from the priest but also from the people. Everyone should consider making this sacrifice every month. Your attendance and participation at the Divine Liturgy will ensure the mission at the Gold Coast will continue.

Дорогі Браття і Сестри, "Христос воскрес із мертвих, смертю смерть подолав, і тим, що в гробах, життя дарував." Великий Піст закінчується і ми наближаємося до Великодня та цього року святкуємо
Великдень разом з австралійцями. Дозвольте щиро подякувати Вам за Вашу Різдвяну щедрість, за Ваш вклад у цю Парафію
Покрова Пресвятої Богородиці в Брізбані. Окрім цього, також зі щирого серця й у молитві Вам бажаю відчути хоч трошки з радости
нового вічного життя, яке нам приносить Ісус Христос своїм воскресінням. Бажаю Вам відійти від щоденних турбот і клопотів, яким часто прикладаємо всю нашу увагу, сили і час. Застановитися і подякувати Богові за все, зрозуміти, що багато чого ми отримали даром, не тільки через наші заслуги... признати Йому перше місце в нашому житті та належно жити земне життя по-християнському – це означає з Ісусом Христом та в любові.
Парафіяльні справи - ПРОХАННЯ Дорогі Парафіяни, звертаюся до Вас о зрозуміння, шо до присутності на Святі Літургії в
Ґолд Кост, яка відправляється, один раз на місяць. Вона правется для всіх людий в Ґолд Кост. Свята Літургія, Божа Любов, Святи Причастя, Божа Ласка, Дух Божий є як дощ, що падає з
неба. Ті, які вийдуть на дощ, вода змочи їх і вони це відчувають, ті які ховаються від дощу, вони сухі, та навіть не знають, яки це відчутя, бути змоченим дощем.
Так є для всіх нас, які ховаємось від Бога і Його Любові, Його Правде та Його Церкве. Господь нас бачить, але тому, що Він нас не чує неможи нам допомогти. Для людини, це є велика небезпека жити без Бога, Його Любови, Його Правди і Його Церкви. Тоді Бог посилає на людину тяжкі дії досвідчення життя,щоб людина повернулася до Бога. Це досвідчення часом може бути дужи болячи для людини.
