Join the Esopus Creek Conservancy and John Burroughs Natural History Society on a guided nature walk in a variety of ecologically rich habitats. We will visit The Great Vly Wildlife Management Area, Eso-pus Bend Nature Preserve, and/or the Saugerties Lighthouse on the Hudson River. Walk is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required, but recommended. Bring binoculars, field guides, and spotting scopes if you have them, and be prepared for wet, muddy trails, and early spring weather conditions. employed seven to eight thousand workers. It was the largest brickmaking region

in the world, supplying vast amounts of this most essential building material to the

fastest-growing city in the world. Spanning three and a half centuries, this industry
