The npower eStation Combi offers the twin benefits of ultra-fast charging and maximum functionality – all from just one device. Designed for use at service stations and other public places where rapid charging is required, the Combi station provides charging of up to 2 vehicles simultaneously, rapid DC charging at 50kW and AC charging at 22kW.
1: The amperage should be limited to 10 A when charging on a commonly available household power outlet, to avoid overheating.
2: Referring to the maximum output, an expected average battery capacity of 20 kWh in 2012 and a charging device in the vehicle offering the maximum charging capacity.
eStation Combi
Intelligent • Authentication via Plug & Charge
or telephone hotline (AC charging) • Access to DC charging via direct
payment system (no contracts) • Access via Touch Panel
Fast • Ultrafast charging with 1 x 50 kW direct current and 1 x 22 kW
alternating current (up to 22 x faster than at a normal household power outlet)1
• Charging time approx 30 minutes2 – at maximum output power (charging with 1 x 50 kW)
• Charge two vehicles at a time
Safe • Safe charging due to miniature circuit breakers and residual current
operated circuit breakers during the entire charging process • Robust housing with collision protection
Ready for the future • Ready for the grid of the future
