A REAL HAPPY COUPLEThey have been married for 25 years and still in

love with each other like the first day they met:

Julie and Steve! I met them first in 2001. Steve

was posted as an officer for NATO in Naples and

Julie naturally came with him, including the 4-

legged members of their family (that increased

in number very quickly, because of all these dogs

and cats in the streets ….). After three years of

Service they returned to the UK, but Julie

comes back as often as possible to help us.

thThey invited me to their 25 Wedding Anniversary celebrations and

they had a super idea: instead of gifts from friends and relatives

they asked for a contribution for the work of LEGA PRO ANIMALE.

The unbelievable sum of

Euro 1.133,00

came together! Hipp hipp hooray!!! Thanks to this generous gesture

we were able to neuter 25 dogs!

BIG LUCK

Little dog!!!

Mister L. was driving up a street one day when suddenly a car in front of him hit a dog and carried on without stopping. He collected the injured dog and brought it to us. We immediately operated on the animal and we kept it until it recovered. We de-wormed, de-fleaed, vaccinated and neutered it, Mr. L. took care of re-homing him and was successful: right: “Oscar” with his new owner. This time a “happy ending” story ……

AUGUST 2010: Dorothea and Julia drove all the way up to Munich. Renè and Juliane were waiting already, as they started in the middle of the night in Bielefeld: 12 Italian former strays arrived safely in Germany and their new owners were already waiting for them. A big THANK YOU to these young and dedicated people for helping the animals.

Infostrada controls the content of his care package sent by his godmother in Germany. He decided that everything was simply delicious and his thanks are on the way to Germany!!

BIG FUN RUN IN DERBYSHIRE/UK

And it was real fun: Andrea participated together with her son Aaron and Asia, an ex-LPA dog. Aaron was the first baby crossing the finishing line and Asia the first dog. Congratulations for this sporty fun and thanks a lot for the big donation of nearly Euro 500,00 for LPA, because f r i ends and relatives sponsored Andrea.

UNA COPPIA DAVVERO FELICESono sposati da 25 anni e ancora innamorati come il primo giorno: Julie e Steve! Li ho incontrati per la prima volta nel 2001. Steve era stato inviato come ufficiale alla base NATO di Napoli, e Julie naturalmente lo ha seguito, insieme ai membri a 4 zampe della famiglia (che sono aumentati poi di numero molto rapidamente, a causa di tutti i cani e gatti in strada…). Dopo 3 anni di servizio sono ritornati nel Regno Unito, ma Julie ritorna da noi più spesso possibile per darci una mano.

Mi hanno di recente invitata per il loro 25° anniversario di matrimonio, per celebrare il quale hanno avuto una grande idea:invece dei soliti regali da parenti e amici hanno chiesto un contributo per il lavoro della LEGA PRO ANIMALE. Hanno così raccolto l'incredibile somma di

1133 euro!!Hip hip hurrà!!! Grazie a questo generoso gesto abbiamo potuto

sterilizzare 25 cani!

E' stato davvero meraviglioso!

Mille grazie a Chris (sin.) e Teresa (destra). Sono venute in Italia molto spesso per portare cani in Germania o per aiutare nel nostro centro. Ci mancherete quando emigrerete in Australia!!!

Veterinari e studenti possono imparare molto nella nostra clinica (sopra), ma alcuni si divertono anche con i nostri animali (destra).

BUONA FORTUNA

Piccolo cane!!!

Il signor L. era alla guida della sua auto quando una macchina davanti a lui ha investito un cane ed è fuggita via senza fermarsi. Così lui ha raccolto il cane investito e lo ha portato da noi. Lo abbiamo immediatamente operato, e mantenuto fino al pieno recupero, sverminato, ripulito da parassiti esterni, vaccinato e castrato; il signor L. gli ha trovato una buona sistemazione: a destra „Oscar“ con il suo nuovo padrone. Una volta tanto una storia a lieto fine……

AGOSTO 2010: Dorothea e Julia hanno guidato fino a Monaco dove Renè e Juliane, partiti nel cuore della notte da Bielefeld, erano già in attesa: 12 cani italiani in precedenza randagi sono arrivati sani e salvi in Germania dove i loro nuovi padroni erano già in attesa.Un grande ringraziamento a questi giovani impegnati nell'aiutare gli animali.

Infostrada controlla il contenuto del pacco regalo mandatogli dalla sua mamma adottiva in Germania.Ha deciso che ogni cosa era semplicemente deliziosa e i suoi ringraziamenti sono sulla strada per la Germania….!!

UNA CORSA MOLTO DIVERTENTE NEL DERBYSHIRE/UK

É stato un vero spasso: Andrea ha corso con suo figlio Aaron ed Asia, un ex cane della LPA. Aaron è stato il primo bambino a tagliare il traguardo e Asia il primo cane. Congratulazioni per il risultato sportivo, e mille grazie per la grande donazione di circa 500 euro, proveniente da amici e parenti di Andrea.

In prossimità del Natale una gradita sorpresa: alcune signore della comunità tedesca della Nato hanno organizzato una vendita di torte, e il ricavato (116 euro) è stato portato a Dorothea dalla Sig.ra Hufnagel. MILLE GRAZIE!

Grazie Rudina per aver trascorso le tue vacanze con noi aiutandoci alla LPA. Manchi moltissimo ad Asia.
