• Lessons learned by current and former Ghosts

– Better answers start with “Yes, if…” not “No, because…”

– Field or Field not—the user doesn’t care about contractual action progress

– If you care, you'll get results. If you pretend to care, then you’ll probably be a big reason why it takes so long to field things for the user

– Fail fast and early, but let’s be serious…don’t fail TOO often

– P/R Docs—If you don’t know what’s in these docs for your program, you are dead wrong. The degree to which you execute according to these docs is the degree of credibility you have with those who sustain your program

– Had a busy first half of the day? Consider working out at lunch time—there’s a good chance you’ll make the 2nd half of your day more efficient

– Reward the people who work hard for you

– Don’t let a day go by without communicating with all the members of your team

– Sometimes you need to make a headline to remind people why they should care about what you’re doing
