We are offering Uncommon instructional and operations fellowships for those who want to join us and lead outstanding schools. Our fellowships are paid, full-time positions within Uncommon Schools. Individuals work as fellows for 12 months prior to assuming one of the following positions within the organization: Build and lead an Uncommon school. School Leader Fellowship • Compliance Management • Data Analysis and Data-Driven Instruction • Financial Management • Governance and Legal Considerations • School Transportation, Food Services, Health and Safety • Systems Thinking and Operations • Technology Management • Marketing and Development Culture • Creating Culture and Systems Around Discipline • The Joy Factor Taxonomy • Working with Families • Connecting with and Leading Teachers • Leading Adult Professional Development • Student and Teacher Recruitment • Understanding Yourself as a Leader • Building High Performing Leadership Teams • Time/Task Management Instruction • Curriculum Alignment and Yearlong Planning • Data-Driven Instruction • Driving Student Achievement in Special Education • Observation and Feedback • Taxonomy of Effective Teaching Practices • Teaching Core Subject Areas (Math, Reading, Writing, History, and Science) • Putting it All Together Prepare for success.
