This is one of the reasons for which this type of systems is also known as “healthy “heating systems. Another reason is the fact that the air dust is significantly reduced as the air is no longer circulated inside the heated space. Other advantages of the underfloor heating Low heating surface temperature Lack of the lateral air currents Non-polluting Highest yield No maintenance

Brief description The electrical underfloor heating is a modern, simple to install and efficient solution for heating any type of buildings, even for temperature sensitive floors, ensuring maximum of comfort, as the warm air is distributed efficiently across the floor, and a precise adjustment of temperature with low running costs. These systems allow the substitution of the old techniques for removal of ice and snow, that were mainly based on treating the desired surfaces with salt and sand or applying mechanical methods for clearing, thus increasing the time life of the construction materials. Benefits This type of system can be installed for any type of finite floor: marble, sand stones, mosaic, linoleum, parquet, wood floor, land, rooms for animal growth. Design This type of heating system can be used for every finite floor type: marble, sand stones, mosaic, linoleum, parquet, wood floor, land, rooms for animal growth. The design of the electrical heating systems depends on the room size, floor material, climate, etc. The underfloor-heating system is generally suitable for direct heating. For underfloor-heating through concrete layer, cables of maximum power (18 W/m2) are used. For medium size rooms, the cables are assembled so that the power installed should vary between 60-100 W/m2 (direct heating). For bathrooms, it is recommended that the power installed should be less than 100 W/m2 as, for such rooms, a warm floor is desired. For heating through accumulation (concrete, land), the heating cables are introduced in a bulk concrete layer (with a thickness of minimum 10 cm);the later accumulates the heat produced by the cables during the reduced consumption periods ( on the night times) and releases it during the day and in the evening, the maximum installed power being of 175 W/m2. ICPE’s solution ICPE – Center of Electrotechnical Materials and Environmental Technologies is an important producer of electrical heating cables and is specialised in designing, manufacturing and installing a complete underfloor electrical heating system, suitable for various applications, like: industrial, commercial and domestic heating, external surface heating, removal of ice and snow and protection against and anti-freezing.

Stranded resistant conductor Fluorocarbon resin insulation (200oC) Tinned copper screen for electrical protection Protection sheath

Manufactured according to directives of the International Electrotechnical Commission: IEC STANDARD Publication 800 - heating cables for a nominal current of 300/500V used in the heating of rooms as well as freezing prevention. Manufactured according to the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System.
