What are we about ? at Underground, our obsession is maximising the freedom of board-riding. all you need is your secret spot and the right conditions plus an Underground board to experience the smoothest flow of free-riding. Nothing will accelerate your riding ability faster.

how do we support you ? What riders demand from our kiteboards is far more complex than most people realise and can only be achieved by a combination of cutting edge materials and an under-standing of the forces at play. First, it is taken for granted that our boards are very durable with extremely high compressive strength and will always return to their original shape. at the same time they are expected to dy-namically change shape, sometimes hundreds of times per second. This shape-shifting ability smoothes out the ride, allows edge-loading for pop and soaks up the massive forces when landing.

how does it work ? The principles of Underground’s Dynamic Flex & Torsion control lea-ding to Natural Twist Underground‘s performance secret can be explained with the above formula. our boards are designed to respond to the rider‘s foot pressure and flex lengthways, absorbing changing sea states and kite pull. This dynamic fore and aft flex is tempered by powerful 3D torsion control, which allows the

board to twist diagonally, where and when it needs to – instantly. We call this perfect rider-controlled balance – natural twist – and strive to achieve it in everything we do.
