practices relating to big-data, cloud, block-chain,
internet of things etc.
Technology Adoption
• This dimension evaluates how smart, efficient and
connected are the organization’s processes
• Customers are asked to rate themselves on best
practices relating to processes that are real-time,
predictive, self-learning etc.

Connected Cities: 66% of public sector organizations believe it is
important to use sensor data for flood management and other safety management situations, while only 7% are able to do so
Connected Energy: 92% of utilities believe it is important to be able
to predict and anticipate transmission line or sub-station failure, only 15% are able to do so
Connected Manufacturing:79% of organizations believe it is important to harness big data collected from plant sensors,
with minimal disruption to manufacturing, to predict machine condition and execute necessary
action while only 16% are able to do so
