the application that provides Unified Communications through linkage with UCP. Built-in UCS Standard gives you the
benefit of simple UC and feature rich capabilities with the option to seamlessly expand to UCS Premium. UCP brings

The UCS Client is an intuitive desktop and mobile application designed for SME users, so they can easily collaborate
with colleagues. Wherever you are, you are able to reach the resources needed for efficient communications. With
the click of your mouse, your UCS Client instantly accesses shared resources such as a central company directory
and schedule synchronisation. Use the presence information to reduce communication latency and communicate
with others in the most appropriate format: Instant Message, Voice call, video conference, SMS and more. Share
applications and files to review the latest information, such as sales records, and improve decision-making and
response time. UCS simplifies your business communications and improves productivity by linking voice and other
communications-aware applications under a single intuitive user interface.

their products and solutions. The best of which, is the UCP, to help you save money and lower costs. UCP employs a
fully distributed and modular architecture to deliver all the advantages of VoIP. The single voice/data infrastructure
significantly reduces the costs of managing your communication solution. With UCP, it’s possible to provide an
economical communication environment such as managing a multi-site or mobile office. The modular-type gateways,
terminals and soft clients can be located anywhere there is access to your network. As users can connect from

Easy to use and manage
UCP is Ericsson-LG’s unifi ed communications platform, designed to meet SME and Enterprise communications needs.
This groundbreaking innovative platform provides an out-of-the box UC and Mobility solution. In addition, UCP is
scalable for premium UC and supports multiple applications for business support, such as IP Attendant and IP Call
Recording. While still in the limit of each system, you only need to add licences to unlock ports, and offers a selection
for industry-specifi c applications, like the Hospitality package or Contact Centre Solution.

A typical UCP deployment comprises of the Control Unit, optional modules (such as DECT or Analogue interface
cards), port licences (for exchange-line interface ports and user extensions) and the End-user Devices/Licences (desk
terminals, UC clients for desktop and mobile phones).
For all your telephony needs, UCP is the core communication platform, and UCS is an application that provides Unifi ed
Communications through linkage with UCP. Built-in UCS Standard gives you the benefi t of simple UC and feature-rich
capabilities with the option to seamlessly expand to UCS Premium.
What you get
There are three (3) models of UCP available, and users can seamlessly scale their solution by adding more licences.
In the event that maximum port capacity is reached, the control unit can be swopped out with a larger unit, keeping
all other components as is.

There is only a charge for Port and IP extension licences if more than the default included licences in the table above
are enabled.
The premium UC option available on the UPC offering caters for 6-party video-conferencing, fi le-sharing, desktop-
sharing, white-boarding and Outlook Calendar synchronisation.
For more details on customer environment and requirements for using UCS, kindly refer to the UCS guide and checklist
to ensure the necessary capabilities are in place.
The UCP offers a Telephone Call Management Module that can be added at a later stage when the requirement arises.
The current requirement for the analysis of the call records can be done by activating the free line effi ciency report
service on the PBX.
