The Immaculata Catholic School uniform was established to identify us as a community, focus our attention on the inner qualities of students, and contribute to a climate of discipline. Abiding by the policy teaches respect. The uniform policy and dress code will be strictly enforced. Students will be given one warning. After the first warning, parents will be called to provide the appropriate uniform immediately. Purchase your uniforms early to be prepared for the school year. Uniforms are to be purchased from Lands’ End. Our Lands’ End customer code is 900057258. Uniforms are mandatory for all students Kindergarten – 8th Grade. Uniform Guidelines

Uniforms should be sized to fit appropriately. No oversized shirts, sweatshirts or pants.

Shorts, skorts, and jumpers must be no shorter than 3” above the knee. Shorts, skorts, skirts and pants may not be rolled at the waist or bottom.

Tights or leggings may NOT be worn with shorts.

Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

Long sleeve shirts under short sleeve uniform shirts are not allowed. Students should wear the long sleeved polo or Immaculata logo’d sweatshirt or sweater for warmth.

Outer garments such as coats and jackets are to be worn to school, during recess, and home from school. They are NOT to be worn in the classroom, between classes, or during transitional times. Immaculata school logo’d sweaters and crew neck sweatshirts may be worn for warmth at anytime.

PE attire is allowed only on assigned physical education days.

Knee socks, tights and leggings are not part of the Immaculata PE uniform. Sweatpants are worn for warmth.

On Mass days the students participating in the Mass readings or offertory procession must wear the regular school uniform and change into PE attire after the Mass.

Make-up, colored lip-gloss, and colored nail polish are not permitted. On Spirit Days only, colored nail polish is permitted.

Girls may wear only one pair of stud earrings (one in each ear). Boys are not permitted to wear earrings.

Jewelry should be limited to one watch, one ring and simple crosses or holy medals on a narrow silver or gold chain. Watches with a beeping device should be disconnected during the school day. Watches that beep will be taken away and may be claimed on the last day of the school year.

Baseball caps are not part of the school uniform and are not to be worn in the building.

Hair should be neat and well groomed and kept away from the eyes and face.

Boys’ hair must be worn no longer than collar length and cut above the ear.

Girls and boys’ extreme hairstyles and cuts will not be permitted.

Girls and boys’ extreme color of dyed or bleached hair is not permitted.

Shoe laces must be tied at all times.

PURCHASING THE UNIFORM: Immaculata has an exclusive agreement with Lands’ End for uniforms ALL uniform items should be purchased from Lands’ End. Jumpers, skirts, and skorts need to be of an appropriate length for a Christian educational environment—in general, no more than 2-3 inches above the knee. Dec. 1 – Feb. 28, girls wearing jumper, skort or skirt must wear navy opaque tights, classic navy ankle length leggings or knee socks to cover their legs.

OUTERWEAR – Boys and Girls - worn inside school Lands’ End navy blue crew neck sweatshirt, cardigan or crew neck sweater with the Immaculata logo (embroidered) are the only outerwear items worn inside the school. Long sleeved shirts under short sleeve uniform shirts are not allowed. Coats and sweatshirts other than uniform ones are not permitted indoors.
