Longevity pay will be earned in the amount of $2,500 beginning at the 18th year. An additional $3,000 will be earned at the beginningof the 21st year, for a total of $5,500. The term "year" shall be defined as the Unit Member's initial step placement on the Certificated Salary Schedule upon employment with the District plus all step advancements on the Certificated Salary Schedule.
Health and Welfare Benefit cap is $8,032. Work Year is 186 days. Masters Degree: $1,274 per year
For placement, teaching experience will be credited on a one step for one year basis, to a maximum of five yearsexperience. Teachers without prior public school experience will be placed on step 1, column 1.
Employees move only one step per year.
Each unit member, who works full time, will be moved to the next step on the salary schedule for each year of employment.Unit members who work at least 75% of the total regular work days shall advance one step. Effective July 1, 2001, unitmembers who work less than 75% of the regular work day, but at least .50 FTE, that service will count for step advancementevery two years. For unit members who work less than 50% of the regular work days, that service will not count forstep advancement.
* 1. For employees on an emergency credential; 2. Ten percent (10%) administrative cost will be deducted if employee ispart of a certified Internship Program sponsored by the District and if release day are needed, eight percent (8%) if releasedays are not included.
