A: Platinum has installed intelligent lighting fixtures that provide stage wash and movement to enhance your overall event.
A: Yes, however your selected vendor must use the Platinum KC audio package. We are happy to suggest bands and DJ’s that have worked great with us in the Union Station space in the past.
Q&AQ: Why did Union Station choose Platinum KC as their required vendor for audio?
A: Platinum KC has solved the echo effect in Grand Plaza. Our surround sound system allows for guests to hear clearly and experience the best sound environment possible.
Q: Why can’t my selected Band or DJ just bring in their own sound system?
A: Single source sound systems provided by bands and DJ’s create an echo issue. The louder you push a single source system, the worse it sounds in Grand Plaza, diminishing the quality of your event.
Q: Can I use any DJ or Band I want for my event?
Q: How do the lighting packages affect my event?
Q: Can we match our event color to the lighting washed on the walls at Union Station?
A: Yes! Our wall wash “up-lighting” fixtures enhance any event in Grand Plaza, and upgrades are available for additional effects.
Q: What if I need to show a video at my event?
A: Platinum KC has a number of screen, projector, and LED video wall options to accommodate both day and evening events.
