Wegmann La Grange, IL A Unique Combination of Skills For nearly SIX years I have worked for the same company working up the ladder, performing and developing multiple tasks having a wide-array of responsibilities ultimately reporting directly to the CEO in my most recent position as Regional VP of Sales. Having more than 20 years of sales experience I bring a unique set of skills and qualifications that have proven to be affective motivating field sales and generating top sales performances year-over-year. My ability to provide value at every stage of sales quickly builds trust and respect among sales representatives I am managing, direct and indirect, as well as surgeon targets. Understanding the sales process and having the ability to connect with prospective clients shortens the sales cycle resulting in more immediate prospective client conversions and sales revenue. Having the upper-management business acumen allows me to communicate, report and present clear and precise business and sales/marketing plans to CEO, BOD members, other top executives as well as a sales force in the field. Consistent strategic planning and analysis of best practices ensures a maximization of territory performance and efficiency while being flexible enough to have the ability to pivot quickly when and where necessary. My successful concept-to-delivery experience puts me in a category most Mid-Level Managers rarely have as I had extensive influence bringing a new product to market. Working closely with the VP of Engineering and VP of Marketing to develop the right plans and initiatives to ensure a successful launch of the product and then to pro-actively adjust strategy, distribution, sales and marketing tactics as we rolled the product out from it's soft- launch to full product launch resulting in tremendous growth the company had never seen before. Attention to every detail, incredibly organized and a never-quit-till-the-job-is-done drive along with an excellent ability to communicate new concepts, techniques and tactics to the newly hired with little experience up to the highly trained surgeon whether it be in a classroom/lab setting or over-the-shoulder in an operating room my calm, controlled, confident and knowledgeable approach commands the room and people learn quickly. I have developed strong relationships with surgeon users all over the U.S. by delivering results when called upon and providing value by establishing myself as a clinical expert in our scope whereby surgeon users would often call, email or text me to consult them on clinical matters relating to our product and/or our field of expertise. I have successfully developed an excellent reputation in the Medical Device Sales world among colleagues, direct and indirect reps, distributors, surgeons and even competitors that I have worked with, for me and against of having a drive for excellence, an outstanding mix of sales and managerial qualities, someone who can be counted on, of having the highest integrity and loyalty, and simply one that others want and like to work for.
