Value Scale of the UNIT 1 Vocabulary• Develop a value scale
that shows the words you feel the most confident in remembering to the terms you feel the least confident in remembering (1. You know the best…..8. You still have no clue or struggle to remember the concept)
• Foundational elements• Symbols (of the US government and
otherwise)• Democracy (indirect vs. direct)• Dictatorship (oligarchy and
autocracy)• Declaration of Independence• Equality vs. Fairness• Natural Rights of Man (life, liberty,
pursuit of happiness)• Rule of law
Welcome to Kindergarten! • In pairs, draw and label a kindergarten classroom
(nap area, play area, “timeout” area, etc.).• Below your drawing you must explain the basic
routine of the kids each day. Minimum of 8 components (or steps) of the routine.
