Many medical terms come from Greek

Latin had a strong influence on English but

especially science and medicine. Today

many medical terms still use Latin.

Latin02

Greek and Latin are like building

blocks. Sections of word can be

added together to make words with

new meanings. In Korean,

complicated words are often based on

Hanja. In English, complicated words

often come from Greek and Latin.
