Social Isolation task

Design two 3 hour activities for the following groups to encourage them to make friends and build confidence; 1) A group of young teenagers. They have all been moved from

their home towns in Scotland to Mansfield because of floods to their homes. They do not know each other and they do not know if their families are okay.

2) A group of older people (aged 70-90). They share the fact that their wives and husbands have all died recently and they have no children or extended family. They are all physically healthy but many have started to become depressed and are not looking after themselves. They do not know each other and are nervous.
