Place the page on the floor and challenge your child to step over the page, pick up the page with one hand, and roll or fold the page. Comment that God made people with bodies that can do many things. Thank God for making your child.
Make Choices
Making choices is one way babies can feel some measure of control over their world. Give your baby opportunities to practice making choices. Water or juice to drink? Ride in a backpack or in a stroller? Limit choices to things that are acceptable. Making even simple choices can help her grow in confidence and in her ability to make good choices. Pray, thanking God for your baby and for helping her learn to make good choices.
