In Science, we are learning about landforms. Landforms are natural features on Earth. My favorite landform is a Plain. Plains are broad, flat stretches of land. Two characteristics of plains are that they are lower than the land around them and are pretty huge areas. While a good example of a plain is the Santa Barbara Coastal Plains, the Rocky Mountains are not an example. Mountains are a different type of landform.

My favorite landform is beaches because they are fun and the water is very warm. I got to the beach with my family. This is why it is my favorite. It is best to go when it is hot because then you can cool down. We normally bring some food to eat too because after playing in the water all that time, you get hungry!!!
