※ 사역동사란 문장의 주어가 목적어에게 어떤 동작을 하도록 시키는 동사를 말하며‘make,

let, have’가 있다.

My mother didn’t let me read comic books.

Hiddink made our dreams come true.

cf. Hiddink got our dreams to come true.

→ get은 사역의 의미를 가지고 있지만 목적보어로 to부정사를 취한다.

※ get+목적어+to부정사:「(목적어)로 하여금 …하게 하다」

2. 지각동사(see/watch/hear/feel 등)+목적어+동사원형:「(목적어)가 …하는

것을 보다/듣다/느끼다」

※ 지각동사란 눈으로 보고, 귀로 듣는 것과 같이 감각기관을 통하여 우리가 느끼는 것을 표현하

는 동사로‘see, look at, watch, hear, listen to, feel’등이 있다.

→ 지각동사의 목적보어로 현재분사도 사용될 수 있는데, 이 때는‘진행’(…하고 있는 것을
