nsHere is my first attempt at designing the typographical poster This is my first plan out which helps

me know how I want it like  I used 2 different colours for the texts and old press font to make the type look old.

I used the Earth Kid font for the word ‘New’ and used the colors black white and brown and blue for background.

I used the Old Press font for the rest of the quote.

Firstly I found a quote I liked from a

director who's film's I have always liked,

the director was Steven Spielberg.

Next, I had to create a background by

getting a concrete wall, I then  chose a

colour and merged them together, thus

creating a background. To create the text on my poster I went to

a website called www.dafont.com and

picked out different fonts of my choosing,

choosing a different font for each word.

Because I made each word a different

layer I was able to manipulate each word

individually. Firstly i changed the size and

orientation of each word. I then changed

the colours of the words, I had about 3 or

4 complimentary colours. For example in

my second poster I used a font for the

word 'time' that represents the look of a

digital watch

My Final Pieces

Poster Quote A   Poster Quote B

Here are my two final pieces for the project called 'Creation'. I have taken two quotes about films and

movies and created two typographical graphic design

pieces.

on My favourite poster design is Poster

Quote B because i have used more than 1 font and the colours stand out more. You can also see the brick effect background more on Quote Poster B which isn't as clear on Poster Quote A.

If i were to do another one i'd like to do it in a retro look. I would make it black and white and find some retro fonts to put on it. This poster is made for young people who like bright colours and films

Thought: First, information

exists in the mind of the sender.

This could be a concept, idea,

information or even feelings. Encoding: Next, a message is

sent to a receiver in words or

other symbols. Decoding: Lastly, the receiver

translates the words or symbols

into a concept or information

that a person can understand.

Oral Communication: Referring to

spoken verbal communication, it can

also include visual aids and non-verbal

elements to support the communication process.

Non verbal Communication:

Referring to body language, posture or

facial expression. Written Communication:

communication has evolved through

continuing progression of technology. It

can be divided into three ‘revolutions.’

1. Writing in the form of pictographs

(not yet mobile.) 2. Writing appeared on paper, papyrus,

clay, wax (mobile) 3. Controlled waves (radio, infra red,

microwave.)
