    The simple present has 3 uses:

    Repetition with verbs of action*

    - He always studies.

    Statement of fact:

    - Water consists of hydrogen and oxygen.

    - Dentists make a lot of money.

    Future specific time (often regarding travel)

    - My parents leave for Arizona on Thursday.

    - Joanne works on Friday.

    * THERE ARE CERTAIN KEY WORDS USED WHEN EXPRESSING VERBS OF ACTION.

    In order to change a sentence from the positive form to the

    negative form, it is necessary to introduce the auxiliary DO or

    conjugated, leaving the verb in the infinitive form.
