The Roaring 20’s I. Thanks to Republican economic policies the 1920’s
were a decade of prosperity and wealth
II. America continued to urbanize rapidly
III. The lifestyle of the 1920’s will be one of partying, entertainment & boozing
IV. Materialism & mass consumption take over American society
Prosperity & Productivity I. 1920’s prosperity was a result of Republican pro-business
attitudes
II. Prosperity was also a result of abundant power sources including the widespread use of electricity.
