People used horses and carts to travel. People use subways, trains, cars, buses, and planes.

It took longer to go places. It’s faster to go places.

People bought food at street markets. People buy food at supermarkets.

People grew their own food. Most people buy their food.

• Has a conclusion that sums up the major points and leaves the reader with something to think about.
