1. Make name cards for each student with colorful letters. (Worksheet#1)

2. Practice asking “What’s your name?” and answering “My name is ___.” with their name cards.

3. Have two volunteers stand opposite each other with their arms out stretched so that they look like a bridge.

4. Get the other students to dance around in a circle so that they must go under the bridge.

5. Encourage them to sing a song. After the last question the bridge just “fall down” to trap the student under the bridge. Then that student must say “My name is ___.”

1. Give each student a bottle top or a paper clip.

2. Divide the class into two teams. Say a number and the two students come to the front and stand in front of the teacher.

3. Shuffle the flashcards and turn them around so your students cant see them. Quickly turn the flashcard around. (Worksheet #2)

4. The first student that says the word wins. The other student gives their bottle top or paper clip to the winner.

5. The team with the most bottle tops wins.

3. Students watch it and then run to the right wall with the flashcard and say “It’s the _______.”

4. Ask a student to do the mime and play a game.
