After meeting the flight requirements of a 180 day trial period, matched Premier Platinum and Premier 1K customers are also eligible to receive Regional Premier Upgrades (RPU) and Global Premier Upgrades (GPU).

What does premier status match mean?United will match the frequent-flyer status of an employee fromanother airline to the equivalent of United’s MileagePlus frequent flyer program.

With this unique program, United can match the status of over 40 frequent flyer programs. If you have premier status with one of the participating carriers, you are eligible to apply for the equivalent premier status with United’s MileagePlus program.

Program qualification criteria

180 day trial period.Customers will enjoy premier benefits on United and United Express operated flights by providing their ccount number when

reservations or at check-in.

The 180-day trial period begins the day the status match form is submitted to the MileagePlus Service Center.

During the 180-day period, customers have access to all eligible reciprocal Premier benefits with United's partner airlines, including access to Star Alliance lounges, by showing the trial card on the United mobile app or a boarding pass.

A Premier membership card will be issued once flight requirements are successfully met after the 180 day trial period.

Customers cannot qualify for a higher Premier status level than the one matched during the 180-day trial period. For example, if matched to Premier Silver, customers will not be able to earn Premier Gold status through this offer, even if they fly more than 25,000 PQMs during the trial period. However, they will be able to qualify to a higher status level if they reach one of the published qualification thresholds for Premier status after completing the 180-day trial period.

To keep the matched Premier status beyond the 180-day trial period, the number of PQM, PQS or PQD required depends on the Premier status level being matched to:

37,500 PQM (and $4,500 PQD)or

PQM = Premier qualifying miles PQS = Premier qualifying segments PQD = Premier qualifying dollarNote: Customers whose MileagePlus profile is registered outside of the U.S. will not be held to the PQD requirements.

Customers must be an employee of a corporation with an active United Airlines Corporate agreement.

Provide proof of current other airline premier level, either by submitting a copy of your other airline frequent flyer program card or a copy of the most recent frequent flyer program statement showing status and validity date.

To keep any matched Premier level, customers must fly a minimum of two paid flight segments on flights operated by United or United Express during the 180-day trial period.
