The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) -
Surigao Chapter in cooperation with the United
Architects of the Philippines – Graduate
Auxiliary (UAPGA) ant the United Architects of
the Philippines – Student Auxiliary (UAPSA)
joined force for the World Architecture Day
(WAD) 2017 Celebration in the morning by a
motorcade and design exhibit thesis presentation
of the graduating students; at afternoon by
Seminar on UAP Logbook Filing by Ar. Marie
Krisnith Gesta / Private Practitioner at Audio-
Visual Room, Surigao Education Center (SEC)
Compound with the supportive Faculty of
Architecture, Ar. Ramil Preciosa and Ar. Marlon
Solloso/ Chapter BODs Continued in the evening
with the UAP Surigao Chapter’s 3rd General
Membership Meeting inspired by the talk of Ar.
Evangeline Go / Chapter BOD and the Joint
Induction of the New Sets of Officers and Oath
Taking of New Members of UAPGA and UAPSA
Surigao Chapter inducted by Ar. Edsel Castro/
UAP Surigao Chapter President and witnessed
by the present UAP Surigao Chapter Architects/
General Membership. The dinner and fellowship
was generously sponsored by Davies Paints.
Discussions on the 3rd GMM in Gateway Hotel at 10:00PM:
1. Reminders to all chapter members with balanced dues to
settle early with the Chapter Treasurer in person of via
money transfer and avoid inconvenience of payment;
2. Any members still pending of payment in renewal of UAP
membership and with discrepancy on the printed IAPOA
Certificate to be reported to concerned personnel in UAP
Head Quarters for request of certificate re-printing;
3. Presentation of the proposed GMM, Seminar and Family Day
in Dinagat Islands for review and approval of sponsorship;
4. Partial agreement of the upcoming National Architecture
Week (NAW) 2017 & Christmas Party on December 2017 for
UAP Surigao Chapter Officers, BODs and General Members;
5. Other matters: Information dissemination on seminars and
training with CPD points as a requirement in renewal of PRC
license of all registered and licensed architects (RLAs).
