adults. Programs are planned around
common interests and concerns. Each month will be something
different!
Thank You From Pastor Diana
You are a wonderful church family, and Lee and I want to thank you for the many acts of kindness and caring shown us since my foot injury. I was very moved by the gift of the prayer shawl. Your thought-fulness and generosity through prayers, gifts, flowers, food, cards, and notes have wrapped me in love and blessed me more than you know. How grateful I am to be serving Jesus Christ with you! You have been his hands and feet and heart to me. Let us together continue be the hands and feet and heart of Christ to the world. Thank you.
Diana
Have a safe
and happy

July Birthdays
Perspective from Pastor Diana “Come and see.” Those were the words of Jesus to the men
who were following him after they were told by John the Baptist that Jesus was the Lamb of God. When Jesus saw them following him, he asked them, ―What do you want?‖ and they asked him, ―Where do you stay?‖ His answer to them was “Come and you will see.” They went and soon became life-long followers of Jesus. One of those men was Andrew, who, the very first thing, went and invited his brother Simon Peter to meet Jesus, “Come and see Jesus Christ, the Messiah. The next day Jesus invited Philip to go with him, and Philip immediately hunted up his friend Nathanael and told him about Jesus. Nathanael was pretty skeptical and didn‘t think he wanted anything to do with this Jesus, but Philip simply said, “Come and see. Check him out for yourself.‖ After her encounter with Jesus at the well the Samaritan woman went back into town and invited the whole town to go see Jesus, “Come and see a man who told me everything about me. Could this be the Christ?‖
In today‘s world, as in Jesus‘ day, there are many who haven‘t met Jesus. There are many who are skeptical of Jesus. There are many who, like the Samaritans, feel excluded from God‘s people. We can be ambassadors for Christ by simply inviting our friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to “Come and see” for themselves who Jesus is and what Jesus offers by inviting them to worship, study, and grow with us. No pressure, no self-righteousness—just a simple invitation to be a part of something with Someone who can change our lives for the better, a winsome witness to the One who makes a daily and an eternal difference in our lives. What do July 11, July 27, and August 21 this year have in common? Each one is an opportunity for you to invite someone to ―Come and see.‖ Each one is an opportunity to express radical hospitality and share the love of Jesus Christ. July 11 - Worship at Central Gardens 10:20 a.m. - What an opportunity to invite someone to worship with you in a beautiful outdoor atmosphere! Invite someone to go with you who has no church or hasn‘t been to worship for a long time. You needn‘t bring chairs; they will be provided, as well as a tent shielding us from sun or rain. (continued)

Invite someone to go with you who has no church or hasn‘t been to worship for a long time. Shelter house by the ramp Bring your own lawn chair. Come and see!
