Invitation to explore the Vision – STAGE 3
The PCG and Church Council are very keen that we together explore what it means to be an intentional community and what type of housing might be incorporated in the next stage of our vision.
So as to enable maximum opportunity for engaging with the PCG we have arranged for 2 Morning Teas and 2 Dessert and Coffee evenings to meet together to celebrate where we are and to explore what might be possible in our next stage. We don’t have firm proposals so put on your thinking caps so together we can discern a way forward. If you did not pick up our latest NEWSLETTER at the Congregational meeting – please do so this week – available in the Foyer, it outlines where we have come from, what we have achieved and how we might proceed. Morning Tea: 10.30 am Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th August Dessert and Coffee 7.30pm Monday 7th and Wednesday 9th August All at the Church. We look forward to as many as possible of the congregation joining in these conversations – just rock up and share this time together. Playground Fundraiser BBQ and Cake Stall to be held at Bunnings (Kingston) on Saturday the 12th August from 8-4 pm. If you can do a shift please put your name beside a time. Or if you can help by making cakes, biscuits or cupcakes to sell on the day it would be very much appreciated. It’s also a great chance to tell our community who we are and what we are doing. Office Administrator and Bookkeeper – 7 Hours per week Bridgewater Gagebrook Uniting Church is seeking the services of a part time Office Administrator / Bookkeeper for 7 hours per week – 2 mornings.
To assist in the management of the Church Complex and Op Shop, the successful applicant will be a self-starter, willing to work in a small team with volunteers and be willing to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church in Australia. The successful applicant will have proven skills in small office administration and be competent in Reckon financial recording and reporting.
