is approximately 9 miles to the east of Newcastle

One of the oldest stations on the Tyne and Wear

Network, this Grade II* listed building was

originally opened in 1882. The station serves the

first section of the Metro Network from Tynemouth

to Haymarket in Newcastle City Centre.

During the weekend Tynemouth Station hosts one
