Yarn: Scheepjes Color Crafter & Scheepjes Wanderlust

Color 1 – Color Crafter 1080 Venlo Color 2 – Color Crafter 1035 Kampen Color 3 – Wanderlust 452 Lake Louise Color 4 – Color Crafter 1062 Dordrecht. Color 5 – Color Crafter 2018 Pollare.

Hooksize: 4,0 mm.

Measurements: approx 110 cm.

Abbreviations:

⬧ st/sts – stitch/stitches

⬧ sl st – slip stitch

⬧ ch – chain

⬧ sc – single crochet

⬧ dc – double crochet

⬧ bpdc – back post double crochet

⬧ bpsc – back post single crochet

⬧ half star – (dc3tog) yarn over, pull up a loop, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull up two loops in next st, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull up two loops in next st, pull through two loops, pull through four loops. First half star = first dc in first st, second dc in second st, third dc in third st. Second half star = first dc in third st, second dc in fourth st, third dc in fifth st.

Instructions:

[-] – crochet in same stitch. *-* - repeat what’s in between * as many times it says. (-) – total amount of each stitch after each finished row.

Information:

Keep repeating rounds 7–10 to a size you’d like (I’ve made 42 rounds), change color every fifth row, I’ve used the colors named on the second page in that order.

Edge:

Change to color 1. Rnd 1: Start in a corner; *[1 sc, ch 1, 1 sc] around ch, 1 bpsc each around next 85 sts*, repeat *-* 5 more times (12 sc, 6 ch, 510 bpsc). Change to color 2. Rnd 2: Start in a corner; [1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc] around ch, start the first half star in the ch/corner, ch 1 after the half star is made, make a total of 44 half stars (with 1 ch between each) and finish the last stars dc in next ch/croner*, repeat *-* 5 more times (12 dc, 264 ch, 264 half stars). Change to color 3. Rnd 3: Start in a corner; *[1 sc, ch 1, 1 sc] around ch, 1 sc each in next 89 sts*, repeat *-* 5 more times (6 ch, 546 sc).

Tassels:

Make 6 and sew them on in each corner. Use a credit card, driver’s license or similar. Wind yarn 30 times around lengthways. Tie tassel in the middle, leaving long enough ends to sew into the corners of the blanket. Wind another piece of yarn a bit below the top of the tassel and knot in place. Trim tassel ends even. Use Wanderlust or Color Crafter (you choose), thread on beads (if you want) through both yarn ends and sew the tassels in each of the corners of the blanket.
