There has been discussion of thenoontime Tuesday Prayer Groupand it occurred to me that we have

been shy in making its intentionknown. Everyone is welcome !

There are those who come to receivprayer and those who come to pray foanother. All prayer requests made inwriting or orally from the previousSunday service are prayed for and the

in the ofce next door to the church. The number who attend varies fromone or two to a full house. The space intimate but we are assured that if weoutgrow our prayer room space we caalways move to a larger area.

Sometimes words cannot express odeepest feelings and we might chose

just going into the silence. I do thatoften when I do my prayer work athome. If you have not experienced thsilence I would like to recommend it.Let me use the words of another to describe it.

reactions are obliterated, for if theywere, we should pass into oblivion. We are not trying to discover howto be less ourselves, but how to bemore ourselves.

Jesus gave a good example of going into the silence when he toldus that in prayer we should enterthe closet and close the door. Hislanguage was symbolic. Enteringthe closet means withdrawing intoone’s own mind. For it is fromone’s own mind that the creative-ness which one possesses ema-nates.

It is evident that the closet is nota place of mental and spiritualoblivion, for a movement of con-sciousness still takes place. Hewho practices this movement of consciousness in the silence ispracticing the inaction from whichaction ows. To “Be still and knowthat I am God” is to enter the sanc-tuary of one’s own consciousness. From this center, the issues of lifeproceed.

Here in our Secret Place of the

Most High, the inner chamber of our own soul, are written the sa-cred words: I AM. It is from thisconsciousness, this I AM con-ceived in silent recognition, thatPower ows.” (Ernest Holmes)

I invite you to commit to a praypractice that puts you in touch withSpirit. Make prayer requests, par-ticipate in Tuesday Pray group, or

just where you are right now, go

into the Silence. No one is outsidethe Mind of God.God loves you and so do I!And so it is!

PRAYEROur Prayer ministry continues to

thrive on Tuesdays at noon.

Moving Into“The Present”through Con-templation: A

Summary

Authentic, bone chillingly honestspiritual work can be boring formany, not to mention ego-crushing;especially in the beginning of one’s

journey. Real spiritual work hasmore to do with increasing spiritualawareness than a mere acquisitionof books and interesting spiritualtid-bits and topics. It is the process

of shedding illusions—of a body… of time … of fear!!! It shouldbe done alone and with a clearmind. This is typically best donein a meditative state. However, if one is able to move beyond the ini-tial ego resistance of going into ameditative state in the rst place, then perhaps one is ready to pro-gress onto contemplation—a con-tinuous meditation. The bonushere is that contemplation may bedone while simultaneously living anormal life, or at least appearingthat way.

Within contemplation there isalways enough time to processwhatever complicated past andkarmic debts one needs to humblytake responsibility for. Contempla-tive states do not follow lineartime, physical laws or mere egoiclogical-conceptual thought. It isthrough this disillusionment of time (and other tricky illusions)that one is able to “let go” with di-vine assistance and be releasedfrom their past thus moving intothe all important “present moment”

where further ego demolition andcontinuous surrender may takeplace. Now there is no more resis-tance and one is easily pulled in asense along a lesser traveled up-ward pathway. This path isaccompanied by helpful divinecheerleaders and especially one’sown higher Self whom one is in-creasingly becoming more andmore familiar with within.

One must rst nish processingthe past before he/she can moveupward to “the present” wherehigher spiritual awareness is foundand its accompanying rewards of peace, joy and overalltranscendence. An attempt at de-scribing this state is being divinelove and therefore wishing all oth-ers only the best. You and all oth-ers are now divine! More feeling

and less thought. More kindnessand less grievance. There is onlyequality and UNITY! Contempla-tively yours, Jereme.

President's MessageHello My Dear,Merced Come-Unity~

In this opportunity to reect I ambrought to how I am truly taken bythe seasons. Riding the cycles thatthe seasons provide. Meetingspring is a certain dawning. Presentto the atmosphere of sprouting, blooming, nesting and birthing. Itis a very fertile time. I meditateand trust that I will read the subtlecues coming from the Source of All That Is, to be response-able tomeet my bloomin’ destiny. Takenby the Divine current, to ripeningand then to harvest.

I am reading a book by GreggBraden called “Fractal Time”.There he outlines the cycles in uni-versal time, as charted by the Ma-yan and other ancient ancestors. Itsuggests that we are moving into anew position within the galaxy, moving out of a season of dualityand into a time of holism. I deeplyresonate with this possibility. Asthe maps of the ancients agree, weare completing two cosmic cycles

simultaneously. One is a 5,000 yearcycle (season). The other is a26,000 year cycle. Thus bringingus into a truly new age. The possi-bilities are very vast and very per-sonal at the same time! We are thewitnesses and the participants allrolled into One.

As we move into the new age and

season, know that we have beenpromised the Kingdom (I like torefer to as the Queendom) and weneed not stand for anything less. Astime is proving by destiny, we arethe conduits that the Spirit has pro-vided to be the Light Bearers. Eachin our own small way we hold thePeace of a future.

Trust, relax and be playful (joy-ful)! We are being brought through

this transition by grace. We are co-creators cultivating and applyingour conscious awareness, whichthen becomes the action of Being.

Within time and space we areBeing manifest. For me time isMind, and space is Potential asmatter. Put your loving mind (Be-ing) into your matters and all willbe well in every season (cycle).

Giving Thanks…I align and

tune my instrument/Being to theSource of All Things (a.k.a

Love)… and I appreciate thebalance that the seasons pro-vide.

Three cheers for all who arecalled to the Sacred!!… In All Sea-sons!iPeace iLove iJoy!
